Zusammenfassung:Disclosed is an electrically heatable sheet-type element comprising an electrically conductive coating which is applied to an electrically insulating support layer, more specifically to at least one subarea of the support layer, in a mesh or grating structure between the electrodes that forms loops and knots. The total electrical resistance of the sheet-type element can be adjusted by varying the shape of the mesh or grating and by varying the thickness of the applied layer, said thickness being adapted to the shape of the grating.
