Zusammenfassung:	The invention relates to a method for processing a reaction mixture (RG) containing cyclododecatriene and an active catalyst system (K), which contains an aluminum-organic compound. Said method comprises the following steps: a) the reaction mixture (RG) is brought into contact with gaseous ammonia to obtain a first mixture (G1); b) the first mixture (G1) is brought into contact with water to obtain a second mixture (G2); c) cyclododecatriene is separated from the second mixture (G2) by distillation.
