HARVESTER HEADER

The invention pertains to a harvester header (2) comprising a plurality of stripper devices (30) for separating corn ears or seed heads from stalks. The stripper devices comprise a left deck plate (31) and a right deck plate (32), a stalk puller (35), which is adapted to separate a corn ear or seed head from a stalk when said corn ear or seed head engages a deck plate and a plurality of crop conveyors (20), each of which is arranged between two adjacent stripper devices. The crop conveyors comprise a movable closed transport surface (21) that is adapted to convey said separated corn ears or seed heads by moving the transport surface in a direction of conveyance parallel to the transport surface. The transport surfaces of the crop conveyors are arranged at a level below the blocking surfaces (33, 34) of the deck plates adjacent to said crop conveyor.
