Zusammenfassung:	A railcar includes: an underframe (11) including a pair of side sills (12) located at both respective ends of the underframe (11) in a car width direction (Y) and extending in a car longitudinal direction (X) and a plurality of cross beams (3) coupling the pair of side sills (12) to each other in a car width direction (Y); and an underfloor cover (80) covering an underfloor portion of the underframe (11). The underfloor cover (80) includes upper and lower plate-shaped members (a shielding plate (81) and a closing plate (82)) made of stainless steel, and the upper and lower plate-shaped members (81 and 82) are at least partially spaced apart from each other.
