Zusammenfassung:	A system for displaying and editing data for a medical device is provided. The system includes at least one viewing application for execution on a user appliance, which application is set up to display medical image data records that are kept in cloud storage in a public cloud. In respect of its component architecture, the viewing application includes a View layer, a ViewModel layer, a Model layer, and a driver layer. In this case, the ViewModel layer defines a common set of functions for the display and editing of 2D image data and 3D image data.
