In the case where a switch Sja is turned ON/OFF for a time period of T1 such that an output voltage (Vo) supplied to a battery 4 and a load 5 by a single converter CVj (j denotes a natural number that is smaller than or equal to n) out of n converters CV1, CV2, ..., and CVn connected in parallel equals a target voltage (Vt), it is determined whether or not the difference between the output voltage (Vo) and the target voltage (Vt) is greater than a predetermined threshold value (Vth). Based on the result of this determination, whether or not an abnormality is present in the converter CVj that has performed the control for turning ON/OFF the switch Sja is determined. |
