RETRACTABLE SEAT FOR A VEHICLE

This seat (1) comprises an underbody assembly (2) connected to a backrest (4) by a pivot connection (P1), the backrest (4) being movable between a normal position and a retracted position. Further, the backrest (4) comprises a stop (10) provided with a stop surface, and the underbody assembly (2) comprises a blocking surface to engage with the stop surface in order to block the backrest (4) in an intermediate position APA. The stop (10) moves relative to the backrest (4) between an active position, in which said stop is intended to bear on the blocking surface when the backrest (4) is moved from the normal position to the retracted position, and a disengaged position, in which said stop is remote from the blocking surface throughout the entire movement of the backrest (4) from the normal position to the retracted position, in such a way as to authorize retraction of the backrest (4).
