Zusammenfassung:	[Problem] To prevent an unnecessary electromagnetic wave from being radiated from a power transmission element. [Solution] In a wireless power transfer system that transmits power through electromagnetic wave from a power transmission element 21 of power transmission equipment to a power receiving element 11 of power receiving equipment; a shield 31 configured to shield the electromagnetic wave radiated from the power transmission element 21 is provided slidably along a movement surface 5 of a mobile object 10; a first magnet 33 is provided to the shield 31; an urging mechanism 32, which urges the shield 31 to slide in a direction of increasing a shielding effect for the power transmission element 21, is provided; a second magnet 18 is provided to the mobile object 10 at a predetermined distance away from the power receiving element 11; and the second magnet 18 is coupled to the first magnet 33 when the mobile object 10 approaches the power transmission element 21, to thereby couple the mobile object 10 and the shield 31 together, and the shield 31 is slid with a movement of the mobile object 10, to release shielding.
