Zusammenfassung:	The present application relates to methods of producing exosomes or extracts thereof for use in the treatment of diseases or disorders. In particular, the present invention relates to a method of producing exosomes or extracts thereof comprising the steps of: (a) exposing a population of isolated mammalian cells to light between 500 nm to 820 nm for sufficient time to enable said cells to produce and excrete said exosomes; and (b) separating said exosomes from other cellular components based on molecular weight, size, shape, composition or biological activity.
