METHOD FOR DETERMINING AN EFFICIENT ACCELERATION FOR A DRIVE MADE, OR TO BE MADE BY MEANS OF A MOTOR VEHICLE

The invention relates to a method for determining an efficient acceleration for a drive to be made, or made, by means of a motor vehicle, the method comprising the following steps: a) presetting an efficiency value indicating, for a specific driving speed, a specific ratio between a consumption change and a travel time change associated with the consumption change, wherein it is determined from the efficiency value, which consumption saving at a specific travel time extension is acceptable to the driver; b) setting up a target function indicating an efficient acceleration for the drive to be carried out or carried out, wherein entered into the target function are a travel time change and a consumption change for a specific acceleration of the motor vehicle on the basis of at least one output speed to at least one intermediate speed in each case in relation to at least one reference acceleration; c) determining the travel time change and the consumption change; d) determining the efficient acceleration based on the target function set up in step b) utilizing the travel time change and consumption change determined in step c); e) outputting the efficient acceleration to the driver and/or to a vehicle-side driver assistance system.
