STRATIFIED STORAGE TANK

The invention relates to a stratified storage tank for storing heat energy, having a stratified insert and a storage-tank container, wherein the storage-tank container has a first supply opening, a second supply opening, a first discharge opening and at least one second discharge opening, wherein a heat-transfer medium can be supplied into the storage-tank container by means of the first and the second supply openings and can be discharged from the storage-tank container by means of the first and the second discharge openings, wherein the stratified insert is arranged in the storage-tank container and comprises a first partition element, wherein the first partition element separates the storage-tank container into a first chamber and at least one second chamber, wherein the stratified insert extends substantially fully horizontally through the storage-tank container, so that the first chamber is arranged above the second chamber, wherein the first supply opening and the first discharge opening are arranged on the first chamber and the second supply opening and the second discharge opening are arranged on the second chamber, wherein the first chamber can be connected to a first energy generator by means of the first supply opening and of the first discharge opening and the second chamber can be connected to a second energy generator by means of the second supply opening and of the second discharge opening.
