Zusammenfassung: | The invention is based on the problem of locally producing a change in the geometry of a monolithic glass-ceramic component. To this end, there is a method for producing a raised structure on a glass-ceramic element (1), in which a glass element (2) or a glass-ceramic element (1) is irradiated with electromagnetic radiation in a local region of the surface, wherein the radiation passes through the glass element (2) or glass-ceramic element (1) and in the process is at least partially absorbed, such that the glass element (2) or glass-ceramic element (1) heats up in the region of the irradiated electromagnetic radiation and is heated beyond the glass transition temperature, and wherein the irradiation is ended after heating, such that the heated region cools back down to the temperature of the surrounding glass or glass-ceramic material, and wherein the heating results in a change in volume of the glass or of the glass ceramic, this bringing about a local elevation in the surface, and wherein this state is frozen when the heated region cools, such that a surface deformation in the form of an elevation (20) remains after cooling, wherein in the case of a glass element (2) the glass element (2) is ceramicized by a heat treatment following the production of the elevation (20) and is thus converted into a glass-ceramic element (1). |
