Zusammenfassung:	A method of producing a virus in cell culture comprising at least the steps of a) providing a population of cells cultured in a cell culture medium, b) infecting the population of cells by i. inoculating the population with the virus, and ii. incubating the inoculated population so as to allow the virus to replicate and propagate, c) collecting the produced virus, thereby providing a viral harvest, and d) purifying the virus, wherein a power density of at least 15 W/m3, at least 30 W/m3, at least 60 W/m3, at least 100 W/m3, at least 120 W/m3 is applied to the cell culture at least during step b).
