Zusammenfassung: | In a method for machining a workpiece by means of a machining tool, it proposed that the workpiece (1, 20) is held in a workpiece bracket (2) and a stabilizing device (5, 21) is secured in a friction-locking and/or interlocking manner to the workpiece (1, 20), said stabilising device being different from the workpiece bracket (2) and mechanically stabilizing the workpiece (1, 20) during the machining, wherein the fixed stabilizing device (5, 21) does not have a component provided for a relative rotational movement around a workpiece axis. A device system for machining a workpiece, comprising a machine body having at least one workpiece bracket (2), at least one machining tool, and at least one stabilizing device (5, 21) which is different from the workpiece bracket (2) and which is suitable for securing to the workpiece (1, 20) in a friction-locking and/or interlocking manner, is characterized in that the fixed stabilizing device (5, 21) does not have a component provided for a relative rotational movement around a workpiece axis. Finally, a stabilizing device (5, 21) is proposed comprising a base body (7) with at least one workpiece receiving means (12, 18) and at least one clamping element (11) that is movable relative to the base body (7) in the workpiece receiving means (12, 18). Alternatively, the stabilizing device (5, 21) has means for fixing itself to a workpiece (1, 20) and means for damping or cancelling workpiece vibrations. |
