Zusammenfassung:	The invention refers to an impact protective multi-layered fabric (9) comprising a pile of layers of a dry-fabric material, wherein at least one of said layers (1) is conformed to have least one closed fold (3) extending longitudinally across the layer (1), said closed fold (3) having fist and second walls (5,6) substantially facing each other, and wherein said first and second walls (5,6) are stitched to each other by means of at least one yarn (7) of a dry-fabric material. Preferably, the first and second walls (5,6) of the closed fold, are stitched to each other by means of two or more stitching lines (8) are arranged one above the other within the closed fold (3), such as when an object (2) impact on the fabric layer (1), the stitches (7) of the stitching lines (8) break sequentially one after the other, such the energy absorption capability of the layer is increased in a simple manner and without increasing its weight.
