Zusammenfassung:	A gearbox vent apparatus includes: a gearbox 60; an accessory 62 contained in a case 64 mounted to the gearbox such than an interior space 65, 67 of the case 64 communicates with an interior space 69 of the gearbox, wherein the case includes a sidewall 70 and an endwall 72, a hollow drive shaft 90 mounted for rotation inside the case; an annular first seal element 110 mounted to the drive shaft; an annular second seal element 112 mounted to the case and contacting the first seal element so as to define a sealing interface; and a vent tube 80 having a forward end coupled to the endwall in fluid communication with the drive shaft.
