ROLLER MODULE WITH CONVEYOR ROLLERS AND SLAVE ROLLERS

The invention relates to a roller module (20) for use with a chain conveyor (10). The roller module (20) has a conveying direction (21) and a transverse direction (22), wherein the transverse direction (22) is perpendicular to the conveying direction (21). At least two rotatable conveyor rollers (30) are provided, and each of the conveyor rollers is provided with at least one conveyor peripheral surface (32). The rotational axes of the conveyor rollers (30) are parallel to the transverse direction (22), wherein the conveyor rollers (30) in the conveying direction (21) are arranged sequentially, and the conveyor peripheral surface (32) of the conveyor rollers (30) defines a conveying plane (24). According to the roller module, at least one rotatable slave roller (40) is provided, the axis of rotation (41) of the slave roller is parallel to the transverse direction (22), the at least one slave roller (40) is disposed on the side remote from the conveying plane (24) side of the at least two conveyor rollers (30), a peripheral surface (42) of the at least one slave roller (40) and the conveyor peripheral surface (32) of two associated conveyor rollers (30) are in rotary synchronous engagement.
