SPINNING MACHINE WITH FALSE TWISTING DEVICE

The invention relates to a spinning machine, in particular ring spinning frame, having a plurality of units arranged next to each other, each unit (1) having a drawing system (20) for drawing a fibre strip, a spinning device for twisting the drawn fibre strip to form a thread (3), and a false twisting device (9) arranged between the drawing system (20) and the spinning device. The false twisting device (9) has at least one driven belt, which runs substantially transversely to the thread (3), and the thread (3) wraps around two runs (4, 5), running in opposite directions, of the belt(s), in particular in a z- or s-shaped manner. A compacting device (23) for compressing the drawn thread (3) is assigned to the drawing system (20), and the compacting device (23) is arranged between the main drawing field of the drawing system (20) and the false twisting device (9).
