Zusammenfassung:	A camshaft phaser (12) includes an input member (18) connectable to the crankshaft of the internal combustion engine (10); an output member (20) connectable to the camshaft (14) of the internal combustion engine (10) and defining an advance chamber (42) and a retard chamber (44) with the input member (18); a valve spool (28) coaxially disposed within the output member (20) such that the valve spool (28) is rotatable relative to the output member (20) and the input member (18), the valve spool (28) defining a supply chamber (84) and a vent chamber (86) with the output member (20); and an actuator (100) which rotates the valve spool (28) in order to change the position of the output member (20) relative to the input member (18) by supplying pressurized oil from the supply chamber (84) to one of the advance chamber (42) and the retard chamber (44) and venting oil to the vent chamber (86) from the other of the supply chamber (84) and the advance chamber (42).
