Zusammenfassung:	A method for processing value documents comprises the following steps: by means of a camera device an action of an operator of a value-document processing apparatus is captured. The captured image data are processed by means of an image processing device and at least one predetermined gesture is extracted from the processed image data. An input information item for the value-document processing apparatus is then allocated to the extracted gesture. The input information is provided in the value-document processing apparatus and processed there. The input information can represent a control information item or a data input information item.
