The mobile terminal (100) includes a display unit (151) to output a first screen (310) and a second screen (320) overlapping at least a portion of the first screen (310) as a higher screen than the first screen (310) and a control unit (180) to control transparency based on occurrence of a preset event of at least a first region of the first screen (310) on which an object (330) corresponding to the preset event is output or a second region of the second screen (320) overlapping the first region according to a preset scheme.
