Zusammenfassung:	The invention relates to a rotary piston machine with at least two pistons which move on a circular path within a working chamber with a constant cross-section that is enclosed by a hollow cylindrical or annular outer wall and a cylindrical or annular inner wall arranged at a distance from said outer wall. Guiding elements are provided which are operatively connected to the pistons and at least temporarily move the pistons or are moved by the pistons. The invention is characterized in that the pistons move on a circular path in the working chamber such that a volume enclosed between the pistons varies at least temporarily during a rotation of the pistons.
