Zusammenfassung:	The present disclosure relates to a fuel injector (101) for injecting fuel into a combustion chamber of an internal combustion engine. The fuel injector (101) includes an injector body (102), an injector nozzle (103) and an injector needle (104). The injector needle (104) has a needle valve (107) for cooperating with a nozzle seat (106) formed in the injector nozzle (103). At least one injection aperture (108) is provided in the injector nozzle (103). The injector needle (104) is movable within the injector nozzle (103) to control the injection of fuel through said at least one injection aperture (108). A high pressure supply line (122) is provided for supplying high pressure fuel to the injector nozzle (103). The fuel injector (101) also includes a high pressure accumulator (125) in fluid communication with the high pressure supply line (122).
