Zusammenfassung:	The present invention relates to a method for operating a gas turbine engine unit (10) comprising a gas turbine engine (12, 12a, 12b, 12c) with at least a compressor section (14) and a turbine section (16), wherein the compressor section (14) and the turbine section (16) are operable by a working fluid (18, 20), and further comprising a unit (22) for an oxygen extraction process, wherein the method comprises the steps of: Discharging a total amount of O 2 -rich working fluid (18) from a compressor (24) of the compressor section (14) to the unit (22) for the oxygen extraction process and extracting O 2 from the O 2 -rich working fluid (18) by an oxygen extraction process.
