Zusammenfassung:	An aircraft galley cart bay door includes a door main structure having an inwardly facing peripheral inner edge with an inner surface, and a surface seal on the inner surface of the inwardly facing peripheral inner edge of the inner wall. A substantial majority of the main structure of the door is formed from a high strength molded carbon fiber composite material. The door main structure may optionally define a recess, and insulation material can be disposed in the recess defined by the main structure of the door.
