THERMAL MANAGEMENT DEVICE WITH PHASE-SHIFT MATERIAL FOR MOTOR VEHICLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat exchanger for a heat management device including phase changer material.SOLUTION: This invention relates to a heat management device comprising a heat exchanger defined to cause a first heat transfer fluid circulated therein and a second heat transfer fluid passed therethrough; and at least one thermal storage means 35 including a plurality of complex phase changing materials 37 and an invagination body of a plurality of inserts 43 thermally contacted with the complex phase changing materials 37 while being present between the complex phase changing materials 37. The invagination body is arranged perpendicular to a flow of the second heat transfer fluid at a downstream side of the heat exchanger at a direction where a flow of the second heat transfer fluid flows, the thermal storage means 35 has at least one edge 49 covering at least one end surface in at least one of the complex phase changing materials 37 and the end surface is arranged to face against the heat exchanger.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
