Zusammenfassung:A system and method of enabling a menu to be displayed on a touchscreen of a handheld computing device, the method including displaying a moveable menu icon on the touchscreen; defining one or more zones within an area of the touchscreen, such that the one or more zones are regions suitable for opening the menu icon; upon the user contacting the menu icon in a manner to activate the menu icon, determining the location of the menu icon, being its activation location, and: where the menu icon is located in one of the one or more zones, opening the menu icon at the activation location; otherwise moving the menu icon to one of the plurality of zones and opening the icon in the zone the icon is moved to.
