Beschreibung
Zusammenfassung:A gateway apparatus, comprising one or more network interfaces configured to communicate over a first network and over a second network, a first subscriber identification module (SIM) slot configured to receive a first SIM card to identify and authenticate the gateway apparatus to the first network via the one or more network interfaces, a second SIM slot configured to receive a second SIM card to identify and authenticate the gateway apparatus to the second network via the one or more network interfaces, at least one local communication module configured to route communications between the gateway apparatus and one or more client devices over a local network, and one or more processors coupled to the one or more network interfaces and the at least one local communication interface, wherein the one or more processors are configured to route communication with the one or more client devices via the one or more network interfaces using the first SIM card over the first network, while maintaining an active connection to the second network via the one or more network interfaces using the second SIM card, determine to switch communication with the one or more client devices from the first network to the second network based on one or more of network packet counts or a failed connection attempt with an external server, and after determining to switch communication with the one or more client devices from the first network to the second network, route communication with the one or more client devices via the second network.
