Zusammenfassung:An image rendering device 1 includes lasers LD1 to LD3 and an image processing unit 31. The lasers LD1 to LD3 emit laser lights LR, LB, LG by which the MEMS mirror 12 scans a projection surface, respectively. The image processing unit 31 drives the lasers LD1 to LD3 based on the image input signal Si thereby to control the light intensity (amount of light) of each of the lasers. In this case, the image processing unit 31 controls the apparent intensity of each of the laser lights LR, LB, LG by performing pulse width modulation of the laser driving current IL of each laser LD1 to LD3.
