Zusammenfassung:	The invention relates to an apparatus for sealing between a support (12) for an electric coil (10) and a plastic overmoulding (20) that at least partially surrounds the support (12), wherein the support (12) has at least one projection (15, 16, 17, 18) facing the overmoulding. According to the invention the apparatus has an impervious integral bond between the support (12) and the overmoulding (20), which is formed by the application of energy towards the at least one projection (15, 16, 17, 18). The invention also relates to a method and apparatus for producing such a seal.
