Zusammenfassung:	A device for prevention of unintentional syringe aspiration includes a syringe cartridge. The syringe cartridge includes a syringe barrel having a first end and a second end, and an outlet at the second end. A plunger is slidably disposed in the barrel between the first end and the second end. A cap is engaged with the first end of the cartridge; and the cap includes a force element. When a substance in the barrel is cooled and frozen and then thawed, the force element tends to force the plunger to move back toward the second end of the barrel.
