Zusammenfassung:	A banknote handling apparatus (100) includes an inlet (24), a first transport unit (7) and a second transport unit (8) which are configured to transport banknotes taken in through the inlet (24), a recognition unit (3) configured to recognize each of the banknotes, a bundling stacker (4) configured to stack any banknote recognized, by the recognition unit (3), as a banknote to be bundled, a non-bundling stacker (5) configured to stack any banknote recognized, by the recognition unit (3), as a banknote not to be bundled, a bundling unit (9) configured to bundle the banknotes stacked in the bundling stacker (4), and a dispense port (101) through which the banknotes bundled by the bundling unit (9) are dispensed. The bundling stacker (4) includes only two bundling stackers, and the non-bundling stacker (5) includes only two non-bundling stackers.
