Process for transferring electric energy, vehicle adapted for such a process and combination of such a vehicle and an external electric energy source

In this process for transferring electric energy from an external source (10) to means (26; 22) adapted for storing or using electric energy onboard a motor vehicle (2), the transfer of electric energy from the external source to the onboard means is realized by magnetic induction (B). The vehicle (2) includes an internal combustion engine (4), a starter (22) and at least one alternator (30, 32) for providing some electric loads (40-46) of the vehicle with electric current (I' 28 ) when the internal combustion engine is running. The vehicle also includes an inductive receiver (48) designed and located onboard the vehicle to cooperate with an inductive emitter (18) belonging to the external electric power source (10) in order to have an electric current (I 50 , I 28 ) flowing along an electric line (50, 28) which extends onboard the vehicle (2).
