Method for presenting relevant resources to end-user communication equipment using network caching

A method is provided for presenting resources owned by resource providers to end users over a network to which items of end-user communication equipment able to use said resources are connected. It more particularly concerns the selection of resources that are relevant to the end user while satisfying both end-user expectations as regards the resource/service offered as well as resource/service distribution constraints related to the network. One or more filtering operations to remove resource descriptions not able to satisfy network requirements and filtering operation typically based on requirements as determined by users is applied on the resources database. This methodology makes it possible to deliver a light and relevant resources database close to end users for subsequent light advertisement to end users.
