Zusammenfassung:	A cover device, includes a movable cover configured to cover retaining jaws of a retaining jaws module; a retaining cover connected to a side wall frame of a vehicle body and configured to enclose in the shape of a U an insertion end side of a retaining jaws module for insertion of a striker plate module to releasably couple with the retaining jaws module so as to connect a vehicle door with the side wall frame, and adjacent longitudinal sides of the retaining jaws module in transverse direction of the vehicle; and a rubber lip configured to elastically connect the retaining cover to the retaining jaws module and to compensate for tolerance compensation.
