Zusammenfassung:	The present invention relates to an oral care composition with a high water content which has improved robustness towards microbial challenge. The oral care composition includes compositions comprising from 0.125 wt % to 0.75 wt % of a water soluble source of stannous ions, wherein the composition comprises at least 50 wt % water and wherein the source of stannous ions is selected from the group consisting of stannous chloride, stannous pyrophosphate, stannous formate, stannous acetate, stannous gluconate, stannous lactate, stannous tartrate, stannous oxalate, stannous malonate, stannous citrate, stannous ethylene glyoxide, and mixtures thereof.
