Zusammenfassung: | A coupling assembly for locking a cylinder has a housing, a switch element arranged in the housing, a drive device arragned in the housing and designed to enable the switch element, movably supported in the housing, to move, and a coupling mechanism capable of shifting between a coupling position and a disconnection position. The switch element can rotate around a switch axis by means of the drive device and can be fixed in the axial direction with respect to the switch axis. The coupling mechanism can be supported in the housing in an antitorque manner and dispalced in parallel to the switch axis. The switch element or the coupling mechanism has at lest one first switch magnet configured as a permanent magnet. At least one magnetic pole axis of the switch magnet extends in parrallel to the switch axis. And the corresponding other of the coupling mechanism and the switch element has at least a pair of first coupling magnets, wherein each coupling magnet is configured as the permanent magnet, the magnetic pole axes of the coupling magnets extend in parrallel to the switch axes, and the coupling magnets in the first pair of coupling magnets reversely polarize.
