Zusammenfassung: | A method (300) of operating a gas or dual fuel engine (100) having a plurality of cylinders (104) includes monitoring (302) a characteristic of each of the plurality of cylinders (104) during operation. The method (300) detects (304) a pre-ignition condition associated with one or more cylinders (104) from the plurality of cylinders (104) based on the monitored characteristics. The method (300) reduces (306) fuel supply to the one or more cylinders (104) having the pre-ignition condition associated therewith. The fuel supply to remaining cylinders (104) from the plurality of cylinders (104) is increased (308) in response to the reduced fuel supply to the one or more cylinders (104) having the pre-ignition condition, in order to maintain a constant power output of the gas or dual fuel engine (100). The method (300) adjusts (310) an amount of air supplied to each of the plurality of cylinders (104) based on the increased amount of fuel supplied to the remaining cylinders (104), in order to maintain an air-to-fuel ratio within a desired range. |
