Zusammenfassung:A computer implemented method, or hardware filtration apparatus, and computer usable program code for measuring porosity in materials using ultrasound. An ultrasonic signal (312) is emitted from a transmitting transducer (306) in an ultrasonic measurement system (300) into a material (314), such as a composite material. A response signal (316) is received at a receiving transducer (308) in the ultrasonic measurement system from the material (314). The response signal (316) is filtered to pass only frequencies in the response signal (316) within a selected frequency range to form a filtered response signal. A porosity level of the material is determined using the filtered response signal.
