Zusammenfassung:A gas turbine engine (100) heat exchange system (200) including a first multi-width channel heat exchanger (MWCHX) (108, 300) configured to transfer heat between a first air stream (114, 208, 322) and a heat transfer fluid (330). The first MWCHX (108, 300) includes a first plurality of air-passage mini-channels (320, 702) allowing passage of the first air stream (114, 208, 322) therethrough, where each air-passage channel (320, 702) has an air-channel width (406) being greater than an air-channel length. The first MWCHX (108, 300) also includes a first plurality of heat transfer fluid channels (402) allowing the passage of the heat transfer fluid (330) therethrough, where each heat transfer fluid channel (402) has a heat transfer channel width (404) being greater than a heat transfer channel length. The heat transfer channel width (404) is less than the air-channel width (406).
