Zusammenfassung:	A clip assembly (18b-18e) for securing an end portion (21) of a sinuous spring (20) to a wooden rail (14b-14e) comprises a non-metallic clip (22b-22e) having a generally planar body portion (28b-28e) and a U-shaped hook portion (26b-26e), the body portion (28b-28e) having spaced grooves (36b-36e) adapted to receive flexible connectors (38) to join multiple clip assemblies (18b-18e) together, and a metal fastener (24b-24e) including multiple tacks (42b-42e) extending outwardly from a generally planar portion of the fastener (24b-24e), wherein each of the tacks (42b-42e) passes through a preexisting opening (40b-40e) in the body portion (28b-28e) of the non-metallic clip (22b-22e). Portions of flexible connectors (38) are arranged inside the spaced grooves (36b-36e) of the non-metallic clip (22b-22e) and are sandwiched between the non-metallic clip (22b-22e) and the metal fastener (24e-24e) of the clip assembly (18b-18e).
