Zusammenfassung:	Known is a motor vehicle bodywork comprising a lateral roof frame which is of monocoque design and which has an inner shell and an outer shell. The inner shell and the outer shell are interconnected via two flanges and enclose a common cavity. A tube is arranged in the cavity in order to reinforce the lateral roof frame. The aim of the invention is to improve the known motor vehicle bodywork by means of a lateral wall. The tube (13) consists of a fibre-reinforced plastic. A tube (13) of this kind made of a fibre-reinforced plastic is cheap to produce in practically any desired form. Compared to a steel pipe, this tube is somewhat less rigid whilst being substantially lighter.
