Zusammenfassung:	The present invention relates to a safety belt retention device for positioning a transversal belt section of a vehicle safety belt along the lower abdominal region of a passenger, for instance a pregnant woman so as to avoid crossing over the womb. The safety belt retention device comprises a pad adapted to be positioned on an upper seat surface of a vehicle seat and the safety belt retention device being secured to the vehicle seat by a fastening means system. A safety belt receiving means, being connected to the pad, will pull a transversal belt section of the safety belt downwardly in a position along the lower abdominal region of the user.
