Zusammenfassung:	A method is provided for obtaining an input for an operating element from a plurality of operating elements, a function being assigned to each operating element. Each operating element is capable of being individually singled-out. The method determines an operating element, to which the user directs his/her gaze, from the plurality of operating elements, based on detecting the user's gaze and assigns the gaze to the determined operating element. The method singles-out the determined operating element. The method receives an input at an input device, and assigns the input to the function assigned to the determined operating element.
