Zusammenfassung:	A carrying device (1) comprising a hook portion (2) having a shoulder blade rest (20) arranged at a free end (32) of the hook portion, a front portion (4) connected to the hook portion (2) and an object support element (6) connected to the front portion. The object support element is configured to carry an object, the hook portion is configured to extend over a user's shoulder so that the shoulder blade rest engages the shoulder blades of the user and so that the front portion is resting on a user's front torso, wherein the hook portion comprises a width adjusting mechanism (10) configured to adjust the width (D) of a hook opening (34) of the hook portion (2).
