Zusammenfassung:	The present invention rotates to a method of producing an assembly (10) for use in a fibre reinforced structural element. The method comprises the step of providing an elongated core element (12), which elongated core element includes an inner core of a first material, and, a cover (26) which circumferentially encircles the inner core and is made of a second material which is a fibre reinforced material compatible with the materials of the fibre reinforced structural element. The elongated core element has an end part (20), which end part has a conical or partially conical shape, such as a truncated conical shape. The end part defines a central end face which exposes the inner core and a circumferential end face which encircles the central end face and exposes the cover.
