Beschreibung
Zusammenfassung:According to one embodiment, a tuned mass damper (110), for example for a drive train of a motor vehicle for damping the oscillation portion of a rotational movement, comprises at least one damper mass (200) which is designed to oscillate in accordance with the rotational movement in order to damp the oscillation portion of said movement, a first guide component (210) and a second guide component (220) extending substantially parallel to the first guide component (210), the damper mass (200) being displaceably located between the two components. The tuned mass damper also comprises at least one rolling element (230) designed to roll on the first (210) and the second guide component (220) about a rotational axis (360) in order to guide the damper mass (200) between said components. The rolling element (230) has a respective collar (530) on either side of a plane (540) running perpendicularly to the rotational axis and intersecting the rolling element (230), said collars being designed to be brought into contact with the first (210) and the second guide component (220) in order to guide the rolling element (230) along a rotational axis (320) of the rotational movement. The diameter of the rolling element (230) does not increase along the rotational axis (360) from a value on the plane to a smaller value at the two ends of the element. This allows the compromise between installation space, the friction that occurs, a simple method of production and optionally other parameters of a damper assembly (100) to be improved.
