Zusammenfassung:	A fluid injector (10) includes a valve assembly constructed and arranged to control flow of fluid from an inlet (28) to an outlet (30) of the injector. A metal housing (44) surrounds at least a portion of the valve assembly. A plastic body (20) is molded over at least a portion of the housing. A distal end of the body defines an integral stepped portion (48) extending from the body (20). A carrier (46) surrounds at least the distal end of the body. A seal member (50) is in contact with at least the stepped portion (50) and a surface of the carrier (46) to prevent liquid from entering a space between the housing (44) and the body (20).
