Zusammenfassung: | A dispersion managed interferometric fiber optic gyroscope (100, 200) comprising: a coupler (105, 207) coupled to the broadband light source (101, 201) via a first input fiber (103,203); an IOC (110,210) comprising: a beamsplitter (111, 211) that directs the input signal to a first output and a second output; a combiner (111, 211) configured to combine a first return signal from the first output and a second return signal from the second output into a combined return signal; an integrated optical circuit input coupled to the coupler via a second input fiber (205); a fiber optic gyroscope sensing coil (120, 220) coupled to a first pigtail fiber (121, 221) and second pigtail fiber (123, 223), the sensing coil comprising sensing fibers (125, 225), wherein at least one dispersion slope of at least one of the first input fiber (103, 203), second input fiber (205), first pigtail fiber (121, 221), second pigtail fiber (123, 223), and the sensing fibers (125, 225) is selected such that the signals at the IOC input has a second order coherence substantially equal to two. |
