Zusammenfassung:	The present application discloses laundry processing apparatus (100) including: housing (110) provided with feed opening (119) for feeding laundry in housing (110); storage tub (200) for storing in housing (110) laundry fed through feed opening (119); steam generator (300) for generating steam to be injected into storage tub (200); water supply mechanism (500) for supplying water to steam generator (300); heater (425) for heating steam generator (300); detector (426) for detecting temperature of steam generator (300); door (120) for closing feed opening (119); locking mechanism (121) for locking door (120) at closed position at which door (120) closes feed opening (119); and controller (122) for controlling locking mechanism (121) in response to temperature detected by detector (426). Controller (122) keeps door (120) locked by locking mechanism (121) until temperature becomes no higher than prescribed temperature.
